Ihave lived in Ashbourne since 1960.

I am married to Denyse and have three children.

My professional occupation is a residential social worker for the Derbyshire County Council Social Services, working specifically with people with learning difficulties, it is both an enjoyful and rewarding role.

My previous job roles include serving for 31 years with the Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service before retiring in 1998 from the position as Station Commander.

I am an active member of the Ashbourne and District Lions Club and have been for 21years.

One of my many hobbies is that of football and I have been a Derby County supporter since 1962, this has encouraged me to be a great advocate of young people participating in sports activites.

I am also a firm believer in traditional values and conservation. With living in an historic town like Ashbourne it is essential that we retain its traditions such as "Shrovetide" and other similarly important community values.

Therefore, I feel privelidged to be serving as a memeber of the Ashbourne Town Council and representing the needs of the people of Ashbourne.
