I was born in Ashbourne in 1963 and am proud to say that I have lived in the town all my life. I married my wife Sue in 1990 and we have three lovely children named Craig, Edwin and Stacey.

Since 1990 Sue and I have run our own business, The Wheel Inn Public House situated at Compton Ashbourne.

My hobbies are spending as much time as I can with my children relaxing at our caravan at the seaside, walking, which I get plenty of because I have to walk three golden retrievers. I enjoy watching football, Derby County specifically, and also cricket.

I am a big supporter and player of our towns Ashbourne Royal Shrovetide Football, long may it continue as one of our towns traditional values.

I joined the Council in September 2001, since joining I have served on Planning, Ammenities and Finance committees.
